It all started in 1919, when Nicola DePasquale came over from Avellino, Italy and opened up a meat market in Newton. In 1969, the market shifted to focus solely on wholesaling sausages. Becoming a USDA Inspected facility allowed us to sell our sausages wholesale to anyone, anywhere. The third generation, Steve DePasquale, bought the business in 1990 and put in a retail part to the store to compliment the wholesale business. Still running it to this day 35 years later, Steve has brought it to what it is today and continues to build on the legacy. Using the same time-honored recipe for the Italian sausages he also has added hit flavors such as the Chinese brand sausages and cheese and garlic. Caelan DePasquale is now the fourth generation in the business today. He is working to take over the business and bring it to new heights, all while keeping the same quality our customers know and love.
